MeritCare’s Roger Maris Cancer Center is having a Bone Marrow Donor Drive Friday from 1-5pm at the Ramada Plaza Suites. They’ll test you to see if you are a match for someone on the bone marrow list. The test is simple: they just take a cotton swab to the inside of your cheek. If you are a match with someone on the list, you could save a life! Cancer patients need bone marrow transplants and often times the recipients are children. If you can’t be a donor, you can also donate money and sponsor a Donation Kit. They’re $26.
