I came across two transplant success stories today. They're very encouraging to read as I prepare for another round of chemotherapy. Roseville & Rocklin Today reports about a young boy who had acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and, after successful treatment, threw the first pitch at opening day ceremonies for Rocklin Little League this morning. The Reformer has an article about how a woman in Brattleboro, Vermont ended up donating marrow to a man in Chwiran, Poland. You know, the expression "Think globally, act locally" has taken on a new meaning for me now.
